Board of Water Supply, City and County of Honolulu
Civil planning to determine the suitability of the remaining land area within the BWS’s Aina Haina Reservoir No. 1 and Booster Station property to site a second 0.5 million gallon (MG) reservoir. TLCG was able to assist the BWS in acquiring the adjacent Wailupe Valley Elementary School property from the City and County of Honolulu, Department of Parks and Recreation, which allowed the second reservoir to be built on the same property.
State of Hawaii, Department of Land and Natural Resources
Civil planning services to identify, evaluate, and provide recommendations for an over-population problem at the Maunawili Falls Trailhead, which has resulted in negative impacts to the nearby residential community. TLCG invited key stakeholders to participate in the planning charrettes, including State and City elected officials, neighborhood board members, landowners, hiking clubs, residents, and even commercial tour operators who are currently prohibited from using the Maunawili Trail. The meetings were successfully facilitated such that each attendee was given the opportunity to voice their opinions and concerns and develop a list of potential short- and long-term solutions.

Civil engineering-related infrastructure master planning and environmental planning services in support of the Waimanalo Healthcare Center’s facility expansion project, which involved the development of a nearby vacant parcel, including the construction of a two-story outpatient medical clinic.

Civil planning services for civil-related infrastructure improvements in support of the NHCH Campus Master Plan on Hawaii Island.

Civil planning services for the development of a community learning center in Nanakuli.
City and County of Honolulu, Department of Design and Construction
Civil planning services to evaluate the adequacy of the Wahiawa wastewater collection system and treatment plant for existing and future conditions. The wastewater management plan included recommended improvements focused on treatment works needed to comply with the requirements of the Clean Water Act.
